5 stars for sheer simplicity. . . and good to boot!! Didn't have cherries on hand so I used canned sliced peaches. Was excellent.


  1. Mix cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
  2. Fold in cool whip.
  3. Blend well.
  4. Pour mixture evenly into pie crust.
  5. Spread the cherries on top.
  6. Refrigerate until served.
