- 4 cups cantaloupe, cubed
- 3⁄4 cup low fat buttermilk
- 1⁄3 cup corn syrup
- 1⁄4 cup orange juice
- 1⁄3 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon grated orange zest

- In a food processor, puree the cantaloupe.
- Transfer to a bowl and stir in the buttermilk, corn syrup, orange juice, sugar and orange zest.
- Freeze in an ice cream machine until almost frozen.
- Cut into chunks and process in a food processor until smooth. Refreeze. Let soften before serving.
