Easy Scrumptious Peach Crisp

• Serves: 6-8

ingredients

• 1 (13 ounce) can peaches in light syrup, sliced
• 1⁄2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
• 1⁄2 teaspoon nutmeg
• 3 tablespoons sugar
• 1 cup flour, divided
• 3 tablespoons flour, divided
• 1 cup old fashioned oats
• 1 cup brown sugar, packed
• 1 cup butter, cold

• Optional

• Cool Whip or butter pecan ice cream

directions

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Lightly grease 9 x 13 glass pan.Drain(or leave a bit of syrup) and Mix peaches, cinnamon,nutmeg,sugar and 3 tablespoons flour. Add to pan.
2. Mix rest of flour, oats and brown sugar. Cut in butter. Sprinkle butter mixture over peaches. Bake uncovered for 45 minutes.
3. Best served warm with whipped or ice cream.

This was a good dessert, but I am giving the recipe 3 stars because the directions were unclear. They did not say if the peaches were supposed to be drained or not, so I included the lite syrup in and it seemed to work ok. Also, nutmeg is listed in the ingredients but the directions never say to add it.
