- 1 head cauliflower (you can use frozen)
- 1⁄4 cup butter
- 2⁄3 cup chopped onion
- 5 tablespoons flour
- 1 cup reserved juices (from cauliflower)
- 2 cups chicken broth or 2 cups bouillon
- 2 cups half-and-half cream
- 1⁄2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄4 teaspoon pepper
- 2 cups grated cheese
directions
- Cut cauliflower into small pieces.
- Cook in boiling water until tender, reserving one cup of liquid when done.
- Cook onions in butter until tranlucent.
- Add flour, then slowly add chicken broth, reserved liquid, light cream, salt, pepper, and worcestershire sauce.
- Cook, stirring frequently, until mixture thickens and bubbles.
- Add cauliflower.
- Add cheese, SLOWLY (sprinkle, stir, sprinkle, stir), stirring constantly until the cheese melts.

<p> <br /><br /><br />Born and raised in Utah..Married an AF guy...moved back home and pulled out the crockpot <br /><br />I like to cook...Love to eat...The DH loves to cook...so now I'm a SAHGM and the daughters and little ones have moved back into my home...EMBRACE THE CHAOS! is my new motto..*sigh* I had just gotten the hang of cooking for two...now back to cooking for 7 plus however many more walk in...LOVE my crockpots...both my daughters are decent cooks and we have fun together in the kitchen...I told them when they fought as youngsters they'd be friends someday...Mama is ALWAYS right!</p>
