Hamburger Helper Beef Stroganoff

"I found this online when I was looking for a "lazy" day recipe for when I wanted to make beff stroganoff without all the work. This is pretty simple but it still has that comfort food stroganoff taste. The family likes it too. You could use any pasta you like but the bow tie pasta goes well with it."

  1. This was easy to make and very tasty. Would make again!

  2. This was good -- and easy to lighten up as another suggested by using the low fat/light versions of ingredients. Also used ground turkey, as that is what I had on hand. Thanks!!

  3. Great recipe! This was exactly what we have been looking for. I even lightened it up a bit with light sour cream, "No Yolks" noodles and low fat cream of mushroom soup...it still tasted terrific! THANK YOU!

I am married, have three children and two grandchildren. My youngest "oops" baby is just turning 17 and is going to be a senior in high school in the fall.. I love to cook and collect recipes. I get a lot of my good recipes from church potlucks. Since I am now retired and a stay at home mom, I have time to search the RecipeZaar site and try a lot of the recipes. We love living on the coast and would never move back inland!
