- 59.14 ml green peppers or 59.14 ml red pepper, finely chopped
- 177.44 ml broccoli, finely chopped
- 78.78 ml carrot, shredded
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 236.59 ml long-grain rice, uncooked
- 2.46 ml dried thyme
- 14.79 ml dried parsley
- 14.79 ml chicken bouillon
- 4.92 ml salt
- 0.61 ml black pepper
- 473.18 ml low sodium chicken broth
- cooking spray or 14.79 ml butter
directions
- Heat a skillet with a lid over medium and spray with cooking spray or melt butter. Add all ingredients through rice. Cook until rice is browned and veggies are tender but still crisp.
- Stir in chicken broth and spices, heat to a boil.
- Cover and reduce heat to low, cook for 20 minutes or until rice is done and most liquid is absorbed.
