"These were served at a recent ladies function I attended. They can be made ahead and refrigerated or frozen until ready to bake. They are delicious and quite simple to prepare."

  1. I made these for an appetizer for a ladies luncheon. I doubled the stuffing mix, used an entire bag of grated swiss cheese (5oz.- 1 1/4 cups)also doubled garlic salt. Everyone loved them! I used the dipping sauce with this recipe and the mustard sauce from recipe # 182856 "Whit's Spinach Balls". They were both very good but the mustard sauce was more popular. I made them the day before and kept in refrigerator until baking. Great recipe! Thanks Judikins!

  2. I used a corn bread muffin mix as I did not have a stuffing mix. As a result I needed to add some breadcrumbs to it. It turned out, however, just great. I did like the horseradish mayo too. Might add some mustard to it next time. Thanks Judikins

I'm a Midwesterner, turned Northwesterner for 30 years and finally a Southwesterner. I retired in 1995 and have had time to enjoy, even more, the things I love, like cooking and entertaining special people in our home--family and good friends. Fortunately, my husband enjoys cooking too (one pot meals), so he relieves me a few times a month.
