      This was really good! I put them on raw, unsalted cashews (1 cup) and used cayenne pepper instead of piri piri.
      here's how;
      1.Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
      2.Place a baking sheet into the preheated oven for 5 minutes. Spread the nuts on the pan.
      3.Combine the rest of the ingredients, except the water, in an ovenproof bowl.
      4.Sprinkle half the spice mixture over the nuts on the pan. Put in oven and toast for 7 to 10 minutes until the nuts are golden brown.
      5.Remove the nuts from the oven and put them in the bowl with the other half of the spice mixture.
      6.Drizzle the water over the nuts and toss. Mix until spices are evenly coated and adhering to the nuts.
      7.Place bowl of nuts on baking sheet and put back into the oven. Roast until the nuts are dry but not burnt.
      8.Cool and separate. Place in a sealed container to store.
      9.Makes 1 cup.
      These were REALLY REALLY GOOD!! My family ate them in a day.
