Nuts n Bolts

This is an old family recipe. It is very easy but good. My Mom made this every Christmas now I make it.

• Total Time: 1 hrs 15 mins
• Prep Time: 15 mins
• Cook Time: 1 hrs

Ingredients:

Yield: 1 roaster ...

• ¾-1 lb margarine
• 1 tablespoon seasoning salt
• 1 teaspoon marjoram
• 1 teaspoon savory
• ½ teaspoon liquid smoke
• ½ teaspoon garlic powder
• ½ teaspoon onion powder
• 1⁄8; teaspoon cayenne pepper
• Cheerios toasted oat cereal
• shreddies cereal
• Crispix cereal
• pretzel
• peanuts
• pecans

Directions:

1. Combine cereal and nuts in a roaster to the volume you want, then melt margarine and stir in seasonings.
2. Sprinkle liquid mixture over the dry mixture slowly while stirring constantly.
3. Roast in oven for 1 hr stirring every 10 – 15 min.
4. I usually add the mixture in 4 equal amounts and sprinkle when stirring.

Shreddies are made by Nabisco. You can add as much as you like to fill a large roaster full. The exact amount is not necessary. Hope you like these as much as my family does.
