  1. Yummy! Loved the taste and smell of the cinnamon shnapps added to the chocolate. I, also, cut the recipe down to 2 servings, but wished I had made the full recipe. Will have this again. Thnx for sharing your recipe, Miss Erin. Made for Comfort Cafe Snow Queen Chalet Jan 2010.

  2. This is lovely! I cut it down to one serving and used Hershey's Special Dark cocoa and fat free milk. Also only used 1/2 oz of (hot) cinnamon schnapps because I didn't want the cocoa to be overwhelmed. Skipped the whipped cream to keep it very low fat. Thanks for posting!

  3. This is wonderful! I just love the cinnamon schnapps in it! So good and easy to make. I halved the recipe for DH and I. Very good!

  4. Just what I needed. I do not like cinnamon, so I used peppemint schapps instead, with a slash of Brendon's Irish cream. I used regular cocoa powder and black cocoa powder. I topped it with a tablespoon of frozen cool whip. Thanks for the recipe.

  5. Another adaptationthat I learned from my MIL is this: Instead of cinnamon schnapps, use peppermint. Add 1 scoop of vanilla ice cream to each mug. Now, you have a Hot Alpine!
