- 1360.77-2267.96 g venison roast
- 113.39-226.79 g butter
- 1 large onion, finely diced
- 5 garlic cloves, pressed
- 4.92 ml dried rosemary
- 14.79 ml marjoram
- 4.92 ml savory
- 1 lemon, juice of
- 14.78 ml good beef stock
- 304.75 g cream of mushroom soup
- 236.59 ml white wine
- 56.69 g package onion soup mix
- 709.77 ml water
- 59.16 ml olive oil
directions
- Put water, wine, soup base, onion soup mix and cream of mushroom in crock and stir, mixing well. Add all other ingredients EXCEPT venison roast. In a large frying pan, heat oil to smoking and sear all sides of roast until well browned. Put roast in crock pot and turn on low for 8-10 hours When done, remove roast and thicken juice to make gravy. Serve over mashed potatoes or rice.

I've been cooking since I was about 12 or so. I realized if I wanted to eat the foods I like, I needed to learn how to prepare them. Now I eat what I want. I enjoy trying new recipes and making improvements when I can. I have spent the last 20 yrs learning to smoke meat and create awesome "BBQ"
