ingredients

• 1 (250 g) package cream cheese
• 1⁄4 cup margarine
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 2 cups icing sugar

directions

1. Mix all ingredients together.
2. Enjoy.

Best Cream cheese recipe. The amount is just enough for a 8 x 12 cake. Most recipes make too much for an 8 x 12 cake and this one is just enough. I've also made it with fat free Cream Cheese and you can not tell the difference at all.

Great quick cream cheese icing recipe. Used it for a birthday cake and it stood up to the tropical temperatures quite well.

Wonderful icing. I used butter instead of margarine (didn't have marg) and I whipped it in a mixer until it was creamy. It made enough for a double layered 9" round spice cake and it spreads easily, tastes delicious.
