A tomato based BBQ that is good on a bun, or a baked potato

  1. Cook onion in oil, add ketchup, vinegar, mustard, water, chili powder, paprika, brown sugar, salt and pepper and simmer for 15 min.
  2. Cover beef with water, add 4-5 bay leaves.
  3. Simmer until it can be pulled apart with fork.
  4. Serve on bun.
  5. Pork or chicken can be used.
  6. Can be frozen.
  7. Note: I use chicken.
  8. I cook the sauce in the crockpot, add the cooked chicken at the beginning, and cook it on low for about 6 hours.
