- 1 (18 ounce) box chocolate cake mix
- 1 egg
- 1 (20 ounce) can cherry pie filling
- 6 tablespoons butter
- 1 1⁄2 cups sugar
- 6 teaspoons milk
- 8 ounces chocolate chips
- Mix cake mix, cherry filling and egg. Pour into large cookie sheet. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes.
- Combine butter, sugar, and milk in a sauce pan. Bring to a boil. Boil for 30 seconds. Remove from heat and add chocolate chips. Spread over hot cake.
This is one of my husband's favorite cakes. Moist and very yummy.
