- 236.59 ml vegetable oil
- 4 eggs, beaten
- 453.59 g can pumpkin
- 828.06 ml all-purpose flour
- 9.85 ml baking soda
- 9.85 ml salt
- 4.92 ml baking powder
- 4.92 ml nutmeg
- 7.39 ml cinnamon
- 2.46 ml clove
- 2.46 ml ginger
- 157.80 ml water
- 236.59 ml butter, softened
- 118.29 ml real maple syrup
- 236.59 ml butter, softened
- 78.78 ml honey
- 9.85 ml cinnamon
directions
- Preheat oven to 350°.
- Mix sugar and oil together in a large bowl.
- Add eggs and pumpkin, mix well.
- Sift all dry ingredients together.
- Stir in small amounts of dry ingredients and water until everything is mixed well.
- Pour into 3 5x9 loaf pans or 6 mini loaf pans.
- Bake for 1 hour or until it test done.
- (mini loaf pans or muffin pans take less time).
- Cool in pans 10 minutes, then remove to wire racks to finish cooling.
- Maple Butter.
- Mix 2 sticks butter and maple syrup together until well blended.
- Honey/cinnamon Butter.
- Mix 2 sticks butter and honey and cinnamon together until well blended.

I made this without the butters. The house still smelss great, and I have 3 big loaves of pumpking bread to share. The spice combo is perfect, exactly like pumpkin pie and it is a very economical recipe to make given that it only uses one can of pumpkin for the 3 loaves. I had to do a lot of baking, and this recipe gives a lot of results, and is no more difficult than making one loaf. A keeper!!
