- 12 eggs, hard boiled and peeled
- 3⁄4 cup water
- 1 cup white sugar
- 2 teaspoons pickling salt
- 1⁄2 teaspoon mustard seeds
- 1⁄4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon dried dill weed
- 1 medium onion, thinly sliced
directions
- Peel eggs after cooking and place in glass jar.
- Place rest of ingredients into a medium pot. Bring up to a boil, then lower to a simmer for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Pour brine over eggs, and using caution, place the lid on top.
- Let sit at least 4 days.
