- 59.14 ml fresh lemon juice
- 29.58 ml water
- 2 garlic cloves, sliced
- 4.92 ml olive oil
- 14.79 ml red wine vinegar
- 2 anchovies, finely chopped
- 4.92 ml Dijon mustard
- 2.46 ml Worcestershire sauce
- 1.23 ml black pepper, freshly ground
- 946.36 ml romaine lettuce, chopped, rinsed well and patted dry
directions
- Combine all ingredients, except lettuce, in a blender or food processor; puree until blended. (Note: Omit the anchovies if you do not like their flavor.).
- Place lettuce leaves in a large bowl and toss with dressing until well coated. Yields about 2 cups per serving.
