Good low fat low cal dip. Easy to make. Makes 10 servings at 1 point each
- 15 ounces turkey chili without beans
- 8 ounces fat free cream cheese
- 4 ounces jalapeno peppers
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1⁄2 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
- Combine all ingredients in a saucepan.
- Cook over medium heat stirring frequently till warm and cheese is melted.
This was a nice flavorful dip. You get the spice and cheesiness that you crave from normal dips without the loads of grease and fat. I had to use turkey chili with beans because the cans of turkey chili w/out beans contained gluten. And it tasted much better hot. It still turned out good though! Next time I'm going to add more jalapenos and keep it warm in a crock pot. This one's a winner!

This was such a delicious and satisfying treat. Very creamy and a bit spicy. Because of my chili choice, it was also a bit sweet, which I love. I noticed a discrepancy in the point value though. I did the calculations and came to 2 1/2 points per 1/4 c serving. I used Stagg turkey chili, Sriracha hot sauce and 1/3 less fat cheese, since my point book said both light and fat free cream cheese are 1 point per serving. Perhaps that is why my point calculations don't match. I also omitted the onion and jalapeno. At any rate, this is definitely a great snack and I will be making it over and over again. Thank you!!!
