Stir-Fried Asparagus

"Looking for a new way to prepare asparagus? A friend prepared this for our family, and it is now one of our favorites. It is best with the thin asparagus. This dish is great with baked ham."

  1. Simple and tasty! I served with rice and marinated tofu. This sauce could really go with any vegetable - broccoli, snow peas, green beans, etc. I did find it a bit salty so next time I might cut back a bit on my broth or soy sauce. Thanks!

  2. I loved this! I did forget to sprinkle with the toasted sesame seeds, but it was delicious even without them. This was very quick and easy to make, and tastes wonderful. Thanks for sharing!

The first meal I cooked for my family was done to earn the Girl Scout Cooking Badge many years ago. I've always loved being in the kitchen, indoors or outdoors. I've started camping and hiking frequently with our Scout troops, so outdoor cooking is a new skill I'm working on.
