- 1 lb spaghetti
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1⁄4 teaspoon ground ginger, dried
- 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
- 1⁄2 lb hamburger
- 2 tablespoons garlic, minced
- 1⁄2 cup green onion, sliced, roughly 1 bunch
- 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
- 14 ounces beef broth
- 4 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1⁄2 - 3⁄4 cup hoisin sauce, depending on brand
- 1⁄4 cup soy sauce
- 1⁄4 cup oyster sauce
- 14 ounces broccoli, frozen
directions
- Cook spaghetti according to package directions.
- Saute onions, ginger, and red pepper in sesame oil until almost translucent.
- Add hamburger to onion mixture and cook through.
- Add garlic, mushrooms, and green onion to onion mixture and saute unti mushrooms are soft.
- In separate bowl whisk together beef broth and cornstarch.
- Add broth mixture, hoisin sauce, soy sauce, oyster sauce an broccoli to onion mixture. Heat until bubbly and thickened.
- Add onion mixture to drained spaghetti. Mix well.
