"This is a dish my sister-in-law used to make, when she cooked years ago. It is not for those that are watching their weight. Very good and easy to make."

  1. This is a family favorite. Sometimes I melt a bit of shredded cheddar on the top and add green onions.

  2. A very simple and tasty potato dish. I used garlic salt instead of onion salt, and low fat milk instead of 1/2 and 1/2 . No complaints and clean plates...thanks Nimz.

  3. Made this for a family get together and everyone loved it. Thanks!!!

  4. Very nice potato side dish. I made these last nite using leftover mashed taters from our Christmas Eve dinner. I used onion powder instead of the onion salt. Also, last few minutes of baking, topped with some shredded cheese. Yummy!

  5. Great tater recipe. The sauce complements the taste of the potatoes very well.

I was one of the original members of Recipezaar that was truly a community of individuals that enjoyed each other in forums and chat rooms. I've been a member of this site since 2003. Made some tremendous friends that I still think of often. I'll continue coming here because my recipes are here and so many more that I tried over the years as a member. It's just a tad boring now and just another recipe site like all the rest. Sad.
