This is an awesome Mexican hot chocolate and when you can add the term low-fat, it can't get better than that. Credit goes to my little book "Low Fat Mexican Recipes."
- 1⁄2 cup cocoa powder
- 1⁄2 cup masa harina
- 6 cups skim milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup sugar
- 6 cinnamon sticks
- In a large saucepan, combine cocoa, masa harina, skim milk, vanilla and sugar. Blend well.
- Simmer over medium heat, stirring constantly until thickened.
- Pour into mugs and serve with cinnamon sticks.
