Lemony Caesar Salad

I make this salad for all our family get-togethers. I am not a fan of vinegar, so this is a great alternative to most salad dressings. Very light and refreshing.

Ingredients:

Servings: 8

• 1 head romaine lettuce
• cooked bacon , crisp and diced
• shredded parmesan cheese , to taste
• crouton , to taste
• 1 cup olive oil
• 1 egg
• ½ lemon, juice of
• ½ lemon, zest of
• 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
• Worcestershire sauce , couple of drops
• Tabasco sauce , couple of drops
• 1 dash sugar
• 3 garlic cloves , minced
• black pepper

Directions:

1. Wash and dry romaine.
2. Cook bacon.
3. Combine olive oil, egg, lemon juice and zest, dijon, worchestershire, tabasco, sugar, garlic, and black pepper.
4. In a large salad bowl, add caesar dressing to lettuce.
5. Add parmesan cheese to taste.
6. Add black pepper to taste.
7. Add croutons.
8. Toss.
