  • In blender combine sugar, lemon juice, milk, and water. POur into ice trays.
  • When the mixture is white and almost solidly frozen, put it all back in the blender and add the vodka.
  • Too much vodka will cause it not to refreeze.
  • Blend until there are no pieces of ice left and pour into a plastic container.
  • Put in freezer.
  • Serve when frozen.

  1. Although I am sure this recipe is quite good (I haven't tried it, but have done many other sorbets), true sorbet doesn't contain milk. This borders on an ice cream or sherbet.
