Do you remember the source of this recipe? I have an almost exact same recipe, minor changes in amounts, and have made it. The first time I made it was for a potluck lunch at work. It was easy and didn't seem all that spectacular. However, my coworkers kept coming back for 2nds! Much to my surprise! I kept it warm in a crockpot on my desk and it was gone within the first 20 minutes of lunch. So I kept the recipe and have used it many times esp for potlucks. I have to admit, it produces a flavor you don't expect from the ingredients list!
