  1. Very good and easy to make. I followed the recipe other then I used Splenda instead of sugar as that is what I buy. I didn't add the optional sesame seeds. The only thing I would do differently next time is to cut back on the salt a bit. I cut the recipe in half and hubby and I ate the whole thing with dinner.

  2. A nice way to enjoy cucumbers! I halved the recipe. Thank you!

  3. We all really enjoyed these. I used English cucumbers and Vidalia onions, and used my madolin to slice them both really thin. I used light sour cream in the dressing. I liked that the dressing was both a light flavor and didn't drown the veggies. A definite keeper!

  4. Delish! I used fat free sour cream and sweetner instead of sugar. The dressing was delicious - I really loved the lemon juice in there. I think black sesame seeds would make this salad really pretty, as the plain ones kind of disappered in the salad. A must try cucumber salad! Thanks.

  5. These are a nice change from what I grow up with. Mom always used mayo, milk and sugar. I liked that you can taste the sour cream without it being masked over by a lot of sugar. This is a great recipe, easy to make and I'll be making it again. I made these for ZWT III game 2007 - Scandinavian Region.

I learned how to cook from my mom, and love to putz around in the kitchen. I watch many shows on The Food Network, too, though Good Eats is my favorite. I have many recipes of my own but am always looking for something that's just a bit different. I am now on the look out for great tasting lower carb recipes, and for natural/organic, whole foods. Feel free to send me Zmail! My photo - this a photo was taken at The Hofbrau Haus in Munich, Germany in April 2007. My mom and I took a wonderful 3-week tour last year and ate here twice. The food was homey and delicious, and the bier was great! I can't believe I finished the whole thing... <a href="http://photobucket.com/icons/" target="_blank"><img src="http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b379/ilikeggs0607/icons/z5587136.jpg"></a><a href="http://photobucket.com" target="_blank"><img src="http://i196.photobucket.com/albums/aa9/deo0519/ZWT3/ab_fish_small.jpg" border="0" alt="Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket"></a><a href="http://photobucket.com" target="_blank"><img src="http://i196.photobucket.com/albums/aa9/deo0519/ZWT3/ab_sm_small.jpg" border="0" alt="Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket"></a> <a href="http://photobucket.com" target="_blank"><img src="http://i80.photobucket.com/albums/j166/ZaarNicksMom/houdini6.jpg" border="0" alt="Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket"></a><img src="http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y53/DUCHESS13/Zaar%20World%20Tour%203/ZWT3-Participation.gif"> <img src="http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b399/susied214/projects/200_PACpic.jpg" border="0" alt="Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket"> <img src="http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y53/DUCHESS13/Zaar%20World%20Tour%204/ZWTAB-tg.gif"><img src="http://img355.imageshack.us/img355/3476/mybanner483b81c1ea2dfah7.jpg">
