I actually came up with this recipe when I didn't have enough of one type of cheese. It turned out delicious!
- 226.79 g Velveeta cheese, cubed
- 226.79 g cream cheese, cubed
- 283.49 g can rotel
- 4.92 ml cumin
- 4.92 ml chili powder
- Melt cheeses together in microwave.
- Add Rotel and spices.
- Continue to microwave until hot.
- Serve with tortilla chips.
Made for All You Can Cook Buffet recipe tag event. The buffet line formed across the driveway, around a couple of trees and over the lawn toward the woods. It was the bbbbbbomb!
I made this for PAC Spring 2008. What a super-easy, tasty dip! Certainly not low on calories, though! I served this to DH and his buddies who were over watching the Stanley Cup Play-offs. They practically inhaled this. I could not find Rotel, here in Canada, so I substituted an equal quantity of moderately-hot salsa. The guys loved it! Thank you for sharing!
