this is good broccoli found this recipe years ago and it is so tasteie
- 2 (8 ounce) boxeseach frozen broccoli
- 1 (10 1/2 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
- 2 eggs, well beaten
- 8 ounces grated cheddar cheese
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1⁄2 cup onion, chopped
- mix everything together in a big bowl add all to a casserole dish bake 40 min at 350.
What's not to love? You mix it up in one bowl, dump it into a baking dish and let it bake. Couldn't be much easier. It comes out super creamy and cheesy.... like a broccoli cheese soup in casserole form. I thawed my broccoli in the microwave before mixing, so my broccoli was tender. Thanx for this simple, yummy broccoli recipe!
I recently took this to work for a luncheon and it was completely devoured! Great, basic casserole to have in your arsenal.
Cheese and broccoli, simple, easy, and tasty! We used frozen broccoli as listed, so it went into the oven very cold and took quite a lot longer to bake than suggested -- nearly an hour. But the result was very good. Made for Pick A Chef, Spring 2008.
