My grandmother used to make these for my family on Sunday mornings. The apples add so much flavor that no maple syrup is needed.

  1. Sift dry ingredients together.
  2. Combine eggs, butter, and milk.
  3. Pour into flour mixture and stir until smooth.
  4. Add apples and stir.
  5. Drop by spoonfuls and cook.

There were excellent, my Husband and my daughter raved about them throughout breakfast. I added a hint of cinnamon to the batch. Definatly something I will be adding to my permanent cookbook!

Very tasty! I used Granny Smith apples and we sprinkled the pancakes with cinnamon and sugar. I made this as a wholesome treat for the kids instead of for breakfast, but I am sure they would be just as good in the morning :) Thanks for sharing!

I really liked it, and so easy to make! (I grated the apple in and did double the baking powder and I also added some cinnamon and vanilla)
