1. This was a really good recipe! My two year old loved it and asked for more! I did not layer it, I just mixed it all up and topped it with cheese. This will be fixed often at our house!

 2. We really loved this. Mike ate 3/4 of it himself lol (he paid the price later when he found we were out of tums lol). I served it with a simple green salad and chips guacamole and salsa. I also put together a plate of raw diced onion and olives to top the casserole with as desired and we loved it with the extras. I did not top with the salsa but I did stir some in with the meat mixture. I also didn't layer, I just mixed the meat mixture with the mac and cheese and then topped with a handful of cheese. We loved the cheesy crust that formed over the top. Also, I didn't use milk or butter in the mac and cheese, just the sour cream and the powdered cheese package. I do this with all casseroles even if they don't call for sour cream, I just like it this way. Mike added extra sour cream to the top of his. We really liked this, and even tho Mike thinks I tried to kill him he told me this is a keeper. I am sure this would be very kid friendly. Thanks for a grt recipe

 3. Very good! It reminded us of Hamburger Helper, only much better. And it was extremely easy to make. Definitely a keeper.

 4. yummy stuff! I mixed the meat with the macaroni as well. I also added the salsa to individual bowls -- my DH is not a salsa fan but my little guy & I loved it. this is a great family keeper -- thanks for sharing it!

 5. I didn't use milk or butter because I used Mac and cheese that had cheese sauce. I goofed and mixed everything together. I covered the top with shredded cheddar. It was very good, next time I think I will crumble doritos on top.

Hello everyone! I am from the lovely state of Alabama. I love to spend time with my family, hunt, fish, read, and swim. I am 29 years old, and I have been married for 7 years to my high school sweetheart. We also welcomed a baby boy into our home on August 11, 2006. His name is Brayden and he is my life and my heart. It has definitely been a change - but a good one. As a new bride and beginner cook, I looked to recipe websites for help and stumbled upon Recipezaar. I love this place!! I am all for any kind of comfort food, such as collards, Mexican cornbread, etc. I love the Calling All Cooks cookbooks, because they have several Southern and different recipes. src="http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b399/susied214/projects/200_PACpic.jpg" border="0" alt="Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket">
