Thank you -- THANK you !! I LOVE lamb --- DH thinks it all tastes (and smells) like MUTTON !! We had marinated chops at a friend's house last year -- and he thought they were wonderful ! I found some loin chops at Costco, and prepared THIS recipe, marinated all day-- and DH agreed to grill them. Served with Mediterranean Israeli couscous, and spanikopita. Was a WONDERFUL meal !! Both of us truly enjoyed it -- thanks so much, ellie_, this will be made many more times !!

I found some lamb round steaks at the grocery store and wasn't sure exactly what to do with them and was actually kind of scared they wouldn't turn out well (I'd never used lamb in any other form except ground), but this recipe did the trick. The lamb was tender, juicy and oh, so flavorful and on top of that they smelled fantastic while they were cooking. Can't wait for it to get warm out so I can do these on the grill. Thanks for posting this recipe Ellie!

I was sorting through some recipes I tried and realized I never left a review here. I am not a lamb lover but this was excellent and both my DH and I really enjoyed these lamb chops. I followed the directons step by step and they turned out perfect. Thanks for posting Ellie. I have moved to my Tried and True folder.

I love cooking and trying different foods, but my favorite cookbooks are now Weight Watchers or low fat/low cal cookbooks as I tend to try and make low fat/low cal recipes. I lost over 90 pounds on Weight Watchers and have maintained for over a year now -- so my cooking/eating habits have changed drastically following my weight loss and to keep it off!
