Awesome stuff! My grand daughter and I had a deep fried bread pudding at a restaurant not too long ago and I wanted to try to duplicate it at home. This sauce was awesome for it. I did add a couple pinches of sugar to make it a little sweeter. We used the leftovers to dip watermelon and pineapple. The pineapple was to die for! I have a feeling that we'll be eating this stuff with pineapple (and other fruit) a lot this summer. Thanks for sharing this wonderful recipe, Nancy. Made for Bevy tag.
