Very simple recipe, very simple flavors! I am a big fan of asparagus and this was a tasty way to make it. I chopped the garlic fairly big (for garlic anyway) and added a squeeze of lemon juice to my second helping. You should try that, it was really yummy. I even got a 6 year old to eat a few pieces. I will make this many times! thanks

5 stars all the Nimz. We loved the asparagus prepared this way. I scaled down the recipe for two. I had very tiny thin asparagus so only pan fried them for a short time. I reduced the amount of oil but kept the butter and spice the same. They were perfect, tender, flavorful and delicious. We enjoyed them very much. I poured the leftover oil/butter mixture over our boiled potatoes it made them taste great. Thanks so much for sharing your recipe. Made for What's on the Menu Tag Game .

I was one of the original members of Recipezaar that was truly a community of individuals that enjoyed each other in forums and chat rooms. I've been a member of this site since 2003. Made some tremendous friends that I still think of often. I'll continue coming here because my recipes are here and so many more that I tried over the years as a member. It's just a tad boring now and just another recipe site like all the rest. Sad.
