Delicious! Easy to make and very moist. I'll certainly make it again. I used 3 cups of apples and omitted the nutmeg and cloves since I'm not fond of them. It's a great recipe! One thing I noticed is the recipe for the cake has cinnamon listed twice. I used 1/2 tsp. but will use 1 tsp. next time.Reply

After 35 years of marriage this was my first made from scratch cake, and it turned out wonderful. I had some apples that we picked off our tree in August and they were still good in my fridge, so I needed something to put them in and this was perfect. Only change I made was to put 3 cups instead of 2, and wasn't sure how big or small to chop the apples so I made them in between. Made the house smell incredible. Thanks so much for this great recipe, I will certainly make this again since it was so simple to do.Reply
