DIRECTIONS

  • Preheat the oven to 325 degrees.
  • Place ribs in the oven to brown while preparing the sauce.
  • Cook sliced onions and garlic in oil until soft, not brown.
  • Remove from heat.
  • Blend tomato paste with vinegar and add to onions together with the herbs, honey and Worcestershire.
  • Dissolve beef cubes in 2 cups boiling water.
  • Add to onion mix.
  • Add salt and dry mustard.
  • Stir and simmer uncovered for 15 minutes.
  • Pour excess fat from ribs.
  • Add sauce mix to cover the ribs.
  • Cook 35 to 45 minutes or until ribs are done.
  • Baste frequently. Ribs should be covered at all times.
