1. These were good and very easy to make. I loved that it was ingredients that I always have on hand. I also liked that I didn't have to marinate them for a long time as I always seem to forget.

 2. Wow! What flavorful, juicy steak! The best I've ever had, at home. I let it sit out at room temp for 15 minutes, before grilling. I grilled it over indirect heat, 6 minutes per side, for medium rare. Thanks for such an easy recipe, with always-available ingredients...I'm just sorry I didn't find this sooner...it would have saved a lot of steak dinners! Thanks!

 3. This is a great recipe for steak! I used NY strip steaks, and instead of plain soy sauce, I used a marinade called Dale's seasoning from a company in Alabama, widely available at Walmart. It is basically a soy sauce with different seasonings added. I refrigerated a couple of hours, then let sit on the counter to come up to room temp before putting on the indoor grill. The steaks were melt in your mouth tender and the flavor was perfect. The McCormick's seasoning really stuck to the meat and flavored it well. Thanks for posting!

 4. I have used this quite a few times, and sometimes change it up slightly based on who I'm cooking for. Some people don't care as much for soy sauce as I do, and for them I use 2 T soy sauce and either 2 T reduced-sodium beef broth, or 1 T worcestershire sauce and 1 T reduced-sodium beef broth. Made any of the ways though, it's a winner!

 5. This was enjoyed by all! The seasoning was perfect for us. We did T-bone and Porterhouse. The Porterhouse was the biggest winner! Thank you cookn4mytwins!!! We can't wait to have steak again! PAC Fall '07

I am a mom of 3 grown daughters and 4 year
old twin boys. I work full time and my
favorite hobby is cooking and baking. Some might think I had lost my mind by having another child when my daughters were as old as they were ( 21, 15, 13 from a previous marriage ) but my childless husband decided that it was about time for him to have a child. Anyhow, we ended up with twins, which turned out great because now they each have someone their own age to be with, since their sisters are so much older. They adore the boys!
I get off of work every day at 3pm, so that gives me plenty of time to come home and prepare a home cooked meal just about every night. We don't eat out much. Its such a waste of money and not very healthy.
I also love to garden. I enjoy having an abundance of vegetables and then trying to find recipes to use them up.
I am famous with my co-workers for trying new dessert recipes and sharing it the next day at work.
I used to have several recipe sites on my favorites but I would always come to zaar first and now I don't even go to any of the others. I love this site!
I will only give out 4 or 5 star ratings to the recipes that we loved and will definitely make again. I don't like to give a low rating. Just because we didn't find the recipe good, I don't want to influence others because they might like it. Happy cooking!
