The minute I set my eyes upon this recipe, I knew I had to give it a try and so glad I did! They are fantastic! I'm going to serve them an hour from now with our evening pot of hot tea and I can predict, everyone's going to ask for another batch! The only little thing I didn't have was cinnamon-sugar, and I substituted it with light brown sugar, worked well! These indeed look like they've come straight out of a gourmet bakery! Thanks so much, Inez, for sharing the recipe.

Oh MizzNezz these are sinful! I made them for a brunch meeting and served alongside fresh fruit. They were so quick to whip up, smelled great while baking, and looked beautiful out of the oven. I'd never made a drop biscuit before and I love the irregular shapes. Thanks for a recipe I'll use again and again.

These are just EXCELLENT! My Thursday morning church group LOVED them! Because these gals love their sweets, I did take some liberties...added more sugar ( 3 Tbsp.) increased the cinnamon to about 2/3 tsp., tossed in 1/2 cup of raisins, and replaced all the milk with buttermilk (plus 1/2 tsp. baking soda added to the dry ingredients). Because I made them larger than the recipe called for, they took a minute or two longer in the oven; the finished batch produced 8 huge "Cinnamon Drop Scones." Had to promise to make them again real soon!...Thanks, Grammy Bunny

After DH and I moved away from the farm, and to the city...I haven't done as much cooking and very little canning. But I do come to Zaar and look for new recipes once in a while. I'm still cooking Zaar!!
I like to play at Facebook, with my family and friends. A lot of my Zaar friends are there!! Yay! It's a good way to keep in touch.
We travel more. We're looking at the European trips now. Hope to go in the springtime. I really want to see London, I think I lived there in a past life, I've been obsessed with it since I was 10 years old!!
