Beautiful

"Years ago, I discovered this wonderful cognac-based drink with a distinctive French origin. It has only two ingredients, and I have experimented with different brands until I discovered what combination I preferred the most--but do experiment on your own to find out what brands you prefer. It's more of an after-dinner drink to sip and enjoy as you slowly savor every last bit of it. And I really do hope you enjoy it!"

  1. Thanks Northwestgal, for an adult after dinner drink worthy of cozying up to the fireplace with a good British mystery novel! I used Planat Cognac (a gift from a dear friend) and Cointreau. I look forward to mixing it up with other brands, as you say, for experimentation; this time I went for my faves! Made for my Fall PAC co-host!

This site used to be awesome. It was at the top of its game when it was called Recipezaar, but that was many years ago. The site was purchased by Scripps and belly-flopped into mediocrity. A few of the faithful members remained, hoping to wait out the storm of corporate nonsense. But alas, it never got better and just continued on its terminal path to nothingness. So most of the loyal members have vanished and made homes at better recipe sites.
