Healthy Oatmeal/Raisin Cookies

You can create up to five timers

Ingredients

    1. 1/2 cup brown sugar
    2. 2 egg whites
    3. 2/3 cup applesauce ( unsweetened)
    4. 1 teaspoon vanilla
    5. 1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
    6. 1 teaspoon baking soda
    7. 1/2 teaspoon salt (optional)
    8. 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
    9. 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
    10. 1 1/2 cups old fashion oatmeal
    11. 2/3 cup raisins
    12. 1/2 cup walnuts (optional)

Directions

  1. Mix brown sugar thru vanilla together.
  2. Add flour, soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg.
  3. Stir in oatmeal, raisins& walnuts.
  4. Drop on cookie sheets which have been sprayed or I use parchment paper.
  5. (flatten with fork) Bake in 350 oven for about 10 minutes.
  6. (I do not like a lot of sugar so by adding raisins you also add a little additional sweetness) Enjoy!
