Yeast Rolls in a Flash

These were so easy and delicious. The rolls are soft and good with butter and jelly for desert. Will make these instead of baking powder biscuits that I usually make. Thanks for posting this easy recipe. My family voted it a KEEPER. In place of the self-rising flour I used 4 cups flour, 2 tablespoons baking powder and 1 teaspoon of salt

Ingredients Nutrition


  1. Combine milk, shortening and yeast.
  2. Add sugar, salt and flour.
  3. Roll out and cut with biscuit cutter.
  4. Place on greased baking pan, let rise in warm draft free place for 30 minutes.
  5. Bake at 350' degrees F.
  6. for 15-20 minutes.
