Vegetable Soup

"I clipped this recipe from a magazine years ago and it is one of the best vegetable soups I've ever eaten. I don't make it as often as I'd like because it takes a lot of time to prepare and cook but the final result is well worth the effort."

 1. This soup is fine, but I don't believe it's worth the long cooking time. It's somewhat bland tasting. I am partial to another recipe that I found on recipezaar.com. It's the Garden Vegetable soup. That one take much less time and I personally think it tastes much better.

 2. very easy to make a lot of preparation but well worth the end result. Have to admit I omited celery as I don't like it but still very flavoursome.

I live with my husband, four cats, and a sweet mutt named Jada in Scarborough, Ontario, where I work as an elementary school administrative assistant. I have a 31 year old daughter who lives with her boyfriend in nearby Don Mills, along with my sweet granddogs, Frankie and Turbo. I would have to say that my passion is animals, since I have so many of them!

If I had a month off work to do what I please, I would first catch up on my sleep and then just have fun - see a few movies and maybe take a couple of short trips - something that wouldn't break the bank - lol!
