- 236.59 ml applesauce
- 118.29 ml brown sugar
- 4.92 ml vanilla
- 177.44 ml flour (or gluten-free flour mix. I prefer Bob's Red Mill)
- 2.46 ml xanthan gum (omit if not using GF flour, or if your GF flour mix already has xantham gum included)
- 78.78 ml cocoa
- 9.85 ml baking powder
- 2.46 ml baking soda
- 2.46 ml salt
- 0.25 ml cinnamon
- 118.29 ml chocolate chips
directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Grease an 8x8in square pan.
- Combine applesauce, brown sugar and vanilla in a small bowl.
- In a separate bowl, combine all dry ingredient (except the chocolate chips).
- Add the applesauce mixture into the dry ingredients and mix until thoroughly combined.
- Add in chocolate chips.
- Pour into prepared pan.
- Bake 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
