ingredients

  • 4 (6 inch) flour tortillas
  • 1 12 cups taco cheese, shredded (can use sharp cheddar or Monterey Jack as well or mix the two)
  • 12 cup salsa

directions

  • Spray baking sheet with nonstick spray.
  • Place tortillas on baking sheet; spray nonstick spray.
  • Sprinkle cheese evenly among the four tortillas.
  • Bake at 350 degrees for 7-10 minutes.
  • Top with salsa.

  1. I needed to use up some flour tortillas and this was the trick. I also used sharp cheddar cheese. I just wish it was crisper. It was still good though. Made for I Recommend Tag Game 2010.

  4. These were great for my lunch, but would make for a nice quick snack also. I first put the tortillas in the oven, after spraying them, without the cheese to get them nice and crispy, then added the cheese to melt and served them with the salsa and sour cream. I see alot of possibilities for changing these up with what I have on hand, such as, adding leftover chicken with some onion. Thanks for sharing your recipe Lainey!! Made for PRMR.
