I really loved this BBQ Sauce... This recipe really came through for me when I needed a BBQ sauce for my chicken and needed one quickly... I made it and dumped it on my chicken and got it right out to the grill. I used half the sauce on 1 3 lb. chicken, basting once about 3 mins. before I was to take it off, so it wouldn't all be burned off, and I am saving the rest of it to have on something else later in the week, and give a chance for the flavors to meld in the fridge... I did make a few adjustments, but none that would affect the flavor... I substituted Splenda for the sugar, onion powder and salt for the onion salt, Louisiana Hot Sauce for the Tabasco, and followed the recipe for the rest to a T... The flavor is wonderful, with just a slight twang from the hot sauce... When I first tasted it off the stove, it tasted quite mustardy, but after grilling the taste changed completely... I used French's mustard and Heinz ketchup, my personal preferences. I will be keeping this sauce in my file to use often! Thanks Mareesme... Glad you chose to enter it into the BBQ Sauce Competition! I posted pictures!
