Isi am a snowbird and went looking for a sweet and sour meat loaf recipe because that's what I've made for he past 45 years and my family loves it. There is just a little difference from this recipe. I use just brown sugar and no vinegar. I think the tomato sauce has enough acid in it.it's a great recipe with or without this change.

Made this tonight to use up 1 1/2 lbs of meat I had defrosted. I have to say that I really enjoyed it. I did sub fresh onions for the instant minced onion. Only problem I had was that there was a ton of "grease" in mine- guess it was the beef I used. Ended up draining it before adding the sauce, and there was still a bunch of grease on the bottom when I served it. Still tasted good though. Will have to have this again. Thanks for sharing!
