I got this from my friend Shelly - she didn't tell me how many they make.
- 1 1⁄2 cups butter (sofened, not melted)
- 2 cups sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 5 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- Cream butter and sugar until smooth, beat eggs and vanilla inches Stir in flour, baking powder and baking soda. Mix until combined, chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
- Heat oven when ready to 350. Roll the dough to desired thickness. cook between 9-11 minute depending on thickness (golden brown bottom's, top may still look undone -- ) cool on parchment paper. Frost with desired frosting -- .
