Very good, smooth & creamy; however, on step 4 you didn't indicate how long to leave it in the oven after adding the sour cream topping. Since I didn't notice this until I was already there, I guessed and left it in for 10 minutes.

  1. Mix graham cracker crumbs, sugar and melted butter. Press into bottom of springform pan. Bake at 350°F for about 8 minutes.
  2. Cool crust. Proceed as directed.
  3. Cheesecake:.
  4. Cream first 3 ingredients. Add eggs, one at a time. Beat mixture. Add 1 tablespoons vanilla. pour over crust. Bake at 350°F for 50 minutes. Remove from oven. Let stand 15 minutes. Turn oven heat up to 450°F Combine sour cream with 1/4 cup sugar and 2 teaspoons vanilla. Spread over cake and return to oven.
  5. Strawberry glaze:.
  6. Stir together cornstarch, water and corn syrup until smooth. Add crushed strawberries, stirring constantly. Bring to boil over med. heat and boil for 1 minute. Stir in lemon juice and a few drops of red food coloring. Cool slightly. Arrange whole strawberries over top of cake.
