- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 medium red bell pepper, seeded and coarsely chopped
- 453.59 g can crushed tomatoes
- 354.88 ml water
- 9.85 ml chili powder
- 9.85 ml Worcestershire sauce
- 177.44 ml brown rice, short grain
- 14.79 ml jalapeno, chopped (canned or fresh)
- 453.59 g pork sausage, Santa Fe-style (or any other fully cooked spicy sausage)
directions
- Combine all the ingredients in the slow cooker and stir to evenly distribute. Cover and cook on low for 8-9 hours, serve hot. This dish will remain warm in a turned-off slow cooker for up to 30 minutes.
