Simple Pesto Spread with Sun-Dried Tomatoes

"A neighbor brought this to a block party a couple of years ago. It is so simple and so delicious that I make it and take it everywhere. At Christmas time I make a wreath using Pillsbury Crescent Rolls and spread this combo on it. Very cute!"

  1. This was really good Terry. I also tried it using softened goat cheese instead of cream cheese. It adds a real WANG! to it.

  2. I made this recently for a party I was hosting. I loved the simplicity of making it. And the spread was a BIG hit at the party. I served it with crackers and pita bread. Everyone wanted the recipe!! This one is a keeper.

  4. Took this to a 4th of July party and it was a big hit. I purchased my pesto and sundried tomatoes from Costco and they were fantastic. Love the combination of flavors. Already have plans to double the recipe for the next get together. Thanks for such and easy and simple, yet yummy dip!

  5. This was so easy to make, and so pretty and tasty. I had half a red bell pepper to use up, so I diced it up and used it instead of the sun-dried tomatoes. I served this with toasted baguette slices. I plan on making this again as an easy appetizer at Christmas - the red and green is so festive.

I'm a mom with three kids ages 10, 8 and 6. Between carpooling for school, dance, soccer, gymnastics and music lessons, doing daycare for a 1 year old neighbor boy, sewing 150 costumes for the Annual Christmas Pagent, and working a part time job for a car dealership, I really don't have much time to add my own recipes, but I really enjoy all of yours. Maybe when my kids graduate from High School in 8, 10, and 12 years (but who's counting) I will have time to do a better job. Seriously, I love being a MOM and enjoy every minute of my time with my kids.
