Simple Ham Spread

"Here's a very simple and basic ham sandwich spread from Jean Pare's Company's Coming Soups & Sandwiches. You can make this as written, increase the quantity of chopped onion or add things like chopped celery and mustard to add more flavour. This recipe should be enough to make 4 sandwiches."

  1. We really enjoyed this recipe. It went great with Canned Ham, and is very simple to whip up together.

  2. Excellent by itself, or as a starting point for a more elaborate spread. I used dill relish instead of sweet. Thanks for posting!

  3. Simply enchanting. I want to believe I am at a fairy tea-party and this very beautiful, light sandwich was on a china plate, accompanied with English tea, and there was a whole lovely afternoon to embrace. I followed this exactly, not changing one thing. Just perfection the way it is. Made for *February Tea and Light Suppers* Photo Forum February 2010
